BESPOKE BRIDAL WEAR, OCCASION WEAR AND EVENING WEAR
How to start
The first step towards your dream wedding gown is a one-to-one appointment. You can arrange the appointment by phone on: 00421 907 921 454 or 0044 787 936 4107 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. To make it easier for you, if you are based in Slovakia or Czechia we can come for appointment and fittings to you.
You can bring your own clippings or drawings to show your preferences. While creating the design of your dress the venue, type of ceremony, season, time of day and colour theme is also taken into consideration. We will sketch ideas until you feel we found the right design for you. Then we calculate the cost of materials and work required to achive a desired finish.
We can source the right silk fabric and lace for you or recommend a number of our trusted suppliers. You can also supply your own materials if you wish. We can embellish your dress with beading in Swarovski crystals and pearls or add luxurious applique and feathers.
Once you are happy with the design we will carefully take all your measurements and create a pattern. Then a basic toile is created in calico, cotton or a lining material which gives you an idea of how the dress will look. The toile is fitted until it looks and feels perfect. It is important to bring a correct underwear to your fitting and know the heel height of the shoes you will be wearing with the garment.
After the toile is fitted the pattern is adjusted and the work on your dress can begin. We will create all layers of the dress, add embellishment and applique. The dress zip and dress hem are fitted last.
A series of dress fittings are needed until a couple of weeks before your wedding or an event to ensure the garment will fit perfectly on the day. It usually takes 2-3 fittings for a simple design, 2-5 fittings for more elaborate garments and corsets, 5 and more fittings for a couture design.

When designing a bespoke millinery piece (hat, headdress, veil, fascinator, clips, collar, wings or other accessory) it's very important to bring with you an outfit you intend to wear with your headdress/accessory. Initially you can try on our collection pieces to have a perfect idea of what kind of headdress/accessory would be most suitable for you. We will discuss and sketch an ideal design starting from the base up, specifying all components and their colour as well as measurements and proportions.
Then the work can begin. Some headdresses and accessories may need a fitting before completion to ensure everything is to your satisfaction and the best is to try the headdress together with the intended outfit. Thus we can check the overall silhouette and make adjustments if needed to achieve the desired look.
If you would like a bespoke hat we recommend to start the work 4 weeks - 8 weeks in advance of the event. If you would like a couture hat, please contact us to receive an estimate of the timeframe for your project.
