The peace lily is native to tropical regions of the Americas and south-eastern Asia. This beautiful plant is a bit of an all-in-one plant. The lily is proficient at removing a variety of alcohol and chemical vapours; including acetone, benzene, trichloroethylene, ammonia, formaldehyde, toluene and xylene. In addition it can raise room’s humidity levels by up to 5%, quite helpful with dry throats, sinus problems or in dry climates.

toluene - thinners, paintbrush cleaners, nail polish, glues, inks and stain removers, some synthetic perfumes
